Adventure Consultants is a world-renowned mountain guiding company with a legacy of climbing expeditions to the world's highest peaks, and wilderness treks to the more remote corners of the globe.
Our philosophy of only operating with small guided groups provides a more personalised service. This minimises environmental impact and continues to have a proven advantage in our success rates, superior to any other expedition operator.
We offer 58 expeditions, treks and wilderness journeys to the Himalaya, Antarctica, Arctic, South America, Greenland, Alaska and the Seven Summits in addition to a world class mountaineering guiding service and climbing school in New Zealand and Europe with our IFMGA / NZMGA mountain guides.
Whether you are taking your first steps into the realm of the outdoors, or are a seasoned adventurer, I believe you will find the quality of the experience offered on an Adventure Consultants expedition second to none, and I invite you to contact us to discuss your next adventure.

Congrats to Anthony Baldry (Australia), Heather Geluk (UK) and AC general manager, Suze Kelly (NZ) on their summit of Lhotse yesterday morning with lead guide and AC CEO, Guy Cotter! Shortly after the main team's summit Sweden's Thomas Stromstedt and AC Guide Dean Staples completed a double summit, summitting Everest on the 21st and Lhotse on the 22nd! The Everest Team of Cason Crane, Dean (Rocket) Hall, Lukas Hochmeister, Josef Hochmeister, Thomas Stromstedt, Simon Gower and Ingolfur Gissurarson all have reached the summit of Everest on May 21 with guides Dean Staples, Lydia Bradey and Ang Dorjee and a Sherpa support team of 16. They are all back at Base Camp now and preparing for their departures home!
Congrats also go out to AC guide Mike Roberts and Tendi who summitted Everest on Sunday morning and then Lhotse on Monday, helping with a rescue for a client of another team in between.
We still have four spots left on our Antarctic Peninsula private yacht trip in January 2014. You can choose to ski tour, climb with our guides or just observe the amazing wildlife on this once in a lifetime adventure!
On 18 Jan 2013 we moved offices to our new premises at 20 Brownston St., Wanaka! On Feb 8 we had our Grand Opening celebrations with special guest Peter Hillary attending to open the building. Guy Cotter and Peter also climbed Mt Aspiring during his visit with us - read the article in the Otago Daily Times about their climb.
