Victoria realised her passion for the outdoors at a young age, and from sixteen worked towards a career in the outdoors industry building experience with cold Scottish winters trekking and climbing and summers instructing rock climbing in Northern Wales.
She moved to Chamonix in 2007 and has made this home, pursuing her career as an International Mountain Leader (Accompagnateur De Montagne). Climbing and mountaineering have always been her primary passion, however, in recent years her discovery of trail running has taken her focus in another direction. In her spare time you'll find Victoria competing in a number of ultra-marathon events including the Chamonix Marathon, Aiguille Rouge Race and the CCC.
Having completed the series of UK qualifications, Victoria holds the top level of UK Mountaineering Instructional Award (MIC) and International Mountain Leader Award. She has also worked as a trainer and assessor both for the National Governing Body (MLA Scheme) and the British Military; a technical advisor for PGL (high ropes), and as a trek and expedition leader.
Victoria has been guiding treks for Adventure Consultants based in Europe for a number of years, her wealth of experience making her an accomplished, adept and knowledgeable guide!
