From Pangboche in Nepal's Khumbu Valley, Chhewang Dorji Sherpa is an Adventure Consultants' veteran, with 12 summits of Everest to his name.
Chhewang is one of our most experienced senior Climbing Sherpa, having also worked for Adventure Consultants on Ama Dablam (with eleven ascents under his belt) and Three Peaks Expeditions. Chhewang has served as Climbing Sirdar on an Adventure Consultants Private Everest Expeditions in both 2018 and 2019. Chhewang is a talented and hardworking addition to any high-altitude climb and his first-rate leadership and skills are ideally suited to expedition climbing. In the off-season, Chhewang earns his living as a yak herder in the high Khumbu.
