- The Everest 2012 and Manaslu 2012 Expeditions: Manaslu climbers have summitted! To the true summit 8163m on Friday May 11th.
Our Everest team have returned to Camp 2 yesterday, with an eye on the forecast and plans to have a summit attempt later this week.
AC Director Guy Cotter leads the Manaslu climb and Mike Roberts leads the Everest Expedition along with guides Dean Staples, Victor Saunders and Ang Dorjee Sherpa.
- We have a group climbing Mera Peak who have summitted and finished now, and two groups on Island Peak in April / May 2012, with all sending dispatches. Lydia's group summitted Island Peak on 12 May, and Paul's group followed suit on 13 May - CONGRATULATIONS!
- Our Greenland Crossing 2012 team have made it off the glacier and thus finished crosing Greenland from east to west! CONGRATULATIONS! You can read about their journey at Greenland Crossing 2012.
- For Vinson 2011-12 - we had three trips this season led by Dean Staples, then Steve Moffat and Mark Sedon. Dean's group summitted Vinson AND Mt Shinn! Steve's group summitted Vinson on Jan 6 as did Mark's group on Jan 19.
- Our Ski the Last Degree South Pole skiers reached South Pole on Dec 30! Congratulations to Carol and Marion on their successful expedition.
- Matias Prieto led our three Aconcagua Expeditions this season. We also had a Private Aconcagua expedition in January led by Dean Staples. They climbed the normal route from Plaza de Mulas Basecamp and posted dispatches from their climb.
- We had a small team of friends climbing on the Ecuador Volcanoes in December - check out their dispatches.
- The private Kilimanjaro Nov 2011 expedition led by Guy Cotter and Suze Kelly had a successful snowy summit day.
- Ama Dablam 2011 - the team had a successful summit day, led by Victor Saunders.
- Our post-monsoon Island Peak 2011 expedition was very successful, led by Arthur Collins.
- Our inaugural Cholatse expedition was in Oct / Nov, led by Paul Rogers and all team members summitted! You can follow their dispatches at Cholatse 2011.
- Our Cho Oyu expedition in September were thwarted by deep snow on their summit attempt and running out of time. They posted dispatches to Cho Oyu 2011.
- Our two Elbrus expeditions successfully climbed to the top of Europe from the north side of Elbrus in July and August - guides were Andrew Wexler and Mike Roberts: Elbrus 2011 Dispatches.
- Alpamayo! Our July 2011 was successful with the team summiting this beautiful 5,917m Andean peak.
- We had five family groups climbing Kilimanjaro during June, July, August, September and November 2011! Follow their dispatches at Kilimanjaro 2011
- The Adventure Consultants Everest 2011 Expedition sent dispatches daily to the Everest 2011 page. We had three successful summit days with 24 summits.
- Our Three Passes Nepal Trek was led by Mark Morrison who sent dispatches daily sharing this special journey with us. We also had two teams trekking to Everest Basecamp led by Kami Tenzing Sherpa.
- We had a private expedition led by Steve Moffat in Greenland for the month of April 2011. They sent dispatches of their ski touring and dog sledding adventures in Greenland for us to drool over.
- Our Carstensz March 2011 expedition was successful with the whole team summitting this remote Seven Summits peak on March 16.
- We had an Antarctic Peninsula Ski Touring expedition during February, guided by Mark Sedon and Victor Saunders. They sent dispatches daily from the yacht and returned back across the Drake Passage in a very exciting crossing!
- Ski the Last Degree South Pole 2010 Dispatches. This was a private expedition led by Guy Cotter to Ski the Last Degree to the South Pole, from November 25 - December 11. The team flew to 89 degrees South and trekked the last 110km to the Pole on skis.
