Preparing for your trek
The Tour del Gran Paradiso is suitable for trekkers with a reasonably high level of fitness. The trek requires participants to be able to walk between 7-9 hours per day, with daily ascents and descents of around 1,500m/4,900ft or more. It is imperative that you are able to carry a 10 -15kg daypack each day, across variable trails in mountainous terrain.
