BIO

Victoria was born and raised in the Lake District, U.K.  She spent 14 years working predominantly in Scotland, Wales and the Lake District, in addition to trekking and climbing work in other parts of Europe and South America.

She moved to Chamonix in 2007 and has made this home. During her time here her main profession is a trekking/trail-running guide.

Climbing and mountaineering have always been her primary passion however in recent years her discovery of trail running has taken her focus in another direction. She has completed the Chamonix Marathon, Aiguille Rouge Race and the CCC.

Having completed the series of UK qualifications, Victoria holds the top level of UK Mountaineering Instructional Award (MIC) and International Mountain Leader Award. With over 20 years in the field, she is an extremely experienced personal guide for adventures in the mountains.

Other experience includes having worked as a trainer and assessor both for the National Governing Body (MLA Scheme) and British Military; a technical advisor for PGL (high ropes), and an expedition leader, and you may recognize her from the BMC's Alpine Essentials DVD.
