Mauro Soregaroli, Mountain & Ski Guide


 Mauro was born in Bergamo, Italy, at the the foothills of the Orobie Alps, where his passion for the mountains began. During the summer months, he is based in Chamonix, France, where he spends his days climbing and guiding on Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and the other 4000m summits. During the winter, Mauro can be found in in Verbier, Switzerland, where he guides ski touring, the Haute Route, back country skiing, heli-skiing and ice climbing.

Mauro has many notable international expeditions under his belt including Everest, Denali/Mt McKinley, Muztagh Ata, Cho Oyu and Aconcagua. On top of Mauro’s breadth of experience in the mountains, he is also a published author and speaks Italian, English and French.
