I’ve done 6 expeditions of this style now, in all cases the guides were very competent, but I thought Mark was exceptional.  He read the group and their competencies very well, the trip and ‘mountain strategy’ were very well planned and he demonstrated a lot of experience and good judgement.  He also set an amicable and relaxed tone for the group which made the trip a pleasure even on the harder days.
