 Marco entered mountaineering from a background in Karate and Military Service.  He was a member of the national karate team and originally moved to Courmayeur, Italy where he is currently based, for military service.

Marco has always loved the mountains and began climbing and skiing seriously in 1999, going on to become a qualified IFMGA mountain guide in 2008. He has many notable achievements in the mountains including skiing the south face of Grandes Jorasses, the Col du Diable on the Mount Blanc du Tacul, the Mezzalama race, Patrouille des Glacier and the Couloir Marinelli on Monte Rosa.

Marco spends his summer guiding in Chamonix, Cormayeur and Zermatt including Gran Paradiso Tour and Mont Blanc. In the winter, he is highly involved in avalanche forecasting  and the avalanche bulletins for the Aosta Valley. International travel includes expeditions to Nepal, Mongolia, Perù, Chile, Bolivia, Iceland and India.
