With only two months to go, and a few spaces available, now is the time to book your place on our Aconcagua Expedition. If you have aspirations to climb at altitude, reach the top of one of the Seven Summits or experience South American culture, this is an ideal expedition for you. This 23-day expedition begins in the lively Argentinian city of Mendoza where you will have time to explore and sample the region’s fine wines. Over the next few days you will trek to the heart of the Central Andes and acclimatise to increasing elevation, with the summit day reaching an elevation of 6,962m / 22,840ft. Through the days, friendships will start to emerge, the hustle and bustle of normal life will be replaced by simple living and exciting new adventures of each day. This expedition is rich in culture, offers an introduction to climbing at altitude and above all, the opportunity to experience adventure.

We are always looking for new adventures and places to explore. The Everest movie, which tells the story of the 1996 tragedy that occured on Mt Everest to the Adventure Consultants expediton led by Rob Hall, has premiered at the Venice Film Festival and also in Los Angeles. Here in Wanaka New Zealand we had a sold out charity fundraising screening of the movie on Sept 10 and we helped support another Nepal earthquake re-build charity fundraiser at the Embassy theatre in Wellington, New Zealand on Sept 17. The Everest movie has opened in IMAX cinemas this week and extends to all cinemas for general release from Sept 25.
