The emphatic message from our Sherpa team when we left Nepal this year, was that more than ever, they want us to return to operate expeditions so we can continue to provide them with employment so they can rebuild their lives and their homes. We are confident that Nepal will be ready to accommodate us and that by next year the Khumbu valley will have much of its infrastructure restored. We feel that by then the timing will be right to return to operate an Everest expedition, as we have for the last 24 years after our first guided expedition that we ran in 1992. The expedition will be led by Guy Cotter with the support of the AC Sherpa team.
Everest Expedition Dates: April 1 - June 2, 2016

We are pleased to confirm one of our most experienced guides, Mike Roberts from New Zealand, as Expedition Leader for the Adventure Consultants 2015 Cho Oyu Expedition and Matty Chessor from Australia / NZ as Assistant Guide. Cho Oyu is the world’s sixth highest mountain and many of our expedition members use the experience gained here as a ‘stepping stone’ to Everest or climb it as their ‘once only’ 8,000m goal. It is a real asset to have both Mike and Matty on this year's team. Mike’s guiding experience is vast and he is renowned and respected as an expedition leader and IFMGA Guide. He has led over 50 high altitude expeditions and reached the summit of Everest 7 times as well as Cho Oyu 4 times. Matty is also an IFMGA Mountain Guide and guided our Ama Dablam expedition in 2013 followed by Cho Oyu in 2014 where he summited with our team, guiding alongside lead guide Steve Moffat.
Our Cho Oyu expedition will commence in Kathmandu, Nepal, followed by a flight to Lhasa, Tibet with further travel on to Cho Oyu Base Camp via road.
Cho Oyu Expedition Dates: August 30 - October 12, 2015

We are delighted to announce Victor Saunders as our Elbrus Expedition Guide for 2015. Elbrus is a giant dormant volcano separating Europe from Asia and reaches 5,642m. It is the highest peak in Europe and is an appropriate objective as a first or second of the Seven Summits. Victor is a huge asset to our team and along with his extensive experience and excellent leadership, Victor’s humour and enthusiasm will be a delight on this expedition. Based in Chamonix, France, Victor is our Chief Guide for the European Alps. Victor is a world-renowned British mountaineer and became an IFMGA mountain guide in 1996, after a career as an architect in London. Amongst an impressive number of Himalayan and 8000m expeditions, Victor also guided the first commercial trek to circumnavigate Elbrus in 1991 and completed the Seven Summits in 2013.
